I feel like I’ve spent a while being in denial about owning a lot of clothes. In my defence, a lot of items have been bought, kept and used over a fair few years, however, admittedly I reckon there are few things with the tags still on (oops). It is that classic thing of having so many clothes, but still nothing to wear. Most of the time I rotate my 5 favourite outfits but still refuse to get rid of the pile of clothes I never actually use. I also experience this thing where I get something new and wonder what I ever wore before that! Tell me you’ve experienced this too?
Anyway, I do enjoy browsing the internet; especially with all this time on my hands, for the latest trends and to seek out my favourite online picks. I have actually become a lot better at creating a wish list, rather than clicking ‘add to bag’ straight away. I thought I’d share a few items from my 3 favourite shops that you also may like, but most of all, a post to act as my own hub for all of my online picks. I must admit, as a ‘resting’ fitness instructor, I am so used to doing all things in my ‘active-wear’, and whilst I’m recovering yoga leggings seem like the comfiest thing to put on in the morning. On the flip side, I am starting to actually be able to wear jeans, and be comfy, which seems like an absolute revelation!
So here are my top three –
‘& Other Stories’ is probably up there as one of my favourite shops. Their creative ateliers in Paris and Stockholm design diversified fashion collections with great attention to detail and quality at an affordable price. It’s a store that gives you ‘ready to wear’ items to create your own style and fashion ‘story’. They also have the best skin care and body wash range that smells amazing!! Here a few of the items I have my eye on! I actually already have the black jumper on the left, but I had to post it on here. It is so comfy and versatile, and it is a light enough material to wear throughout Summer too…if we actually get one?
I discovered ‘Hush’ towards the end of last year, in perfect time for Christmas! I love this clothing brand, aiming to help you look good, but not spend ages trying to do so. The items are fashionable yet effortless. Admittedly, some of the items can be a little more pricey, but the quality is great and it’ll sort your spring wardrobe out with a few safe staples. Here are a few of my picks, I’m hoping my Mum will read this leading up to my birthday in May! (Mum, maybe this will give you a few ideas, hint hint)
I do normally tend to lean towards the blacks and whites, but here’s a little bit of colour ready for summer!
Ok, so I’m a little obsessed with pretty much everything in Whistles, but unfortunately my bank balance doesn’t quite cater for such an obsession. So this is my ‘wish list’ for the moment and hopefully all of these things will eventually go into sale, or maybe I do a little bit of saving for a few treats! Even though I love to wear black and white (as you can see), I feel like a pop of colour; like the bag photographed below, make for a perfect Spring/Summer look.
